Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes, we will have a wide variety of options for our veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friends. All menus will notate which items accommodate dietary restrictions.
Can I Bring in Outside Drinks?
This is a Zero-Waste festival, which means no glass or one-time use plastic bottles, containers, Styrofoam, etc. will be permitted through the front gate. You may bring a reusable water bottle but it must be empty. No outside alcohol may be brought onto the island. Bottles containing liquids, including factory-sealed water bottles, will be emptied at the front gate. All coolers, backpacks, and bags are subject to search. Thank you for helping us achieve our zero-waste mission!
Can I purchase beer and alcohol?
Your ticket to the festival will include one reusable cup that can be saved as a festival souvenir. Beer will be poured by Sierra Nevada and Atlas Brew Works. A Tito's Vodka mixed drink will also be available. Individual drink tickets can be purchased in advance at www.missiontix.com/kingmanisland or at the festival itself. You must be 21 to purchase alcohol. All attendees will be asked to provide valid photo ID at the front gate and again upon purchase of drink tickets inside the festival grounds.
Will there be activities for kids?
Kingman Island is a place for families to enjoy so we encourage you to bring your children to enjoy the beauty of the island and the fun that awaits you at the festival. All attendees must have a ticket. No charge for children under 10.
Will there be ATMs Available?
Yes, if you need cash ATMs can be found at the entrance and in the main meadow.
If you would like to make any purchases at the festival, we encourage you to bring cash with you, as credit card lines tend to be longer. There will be a select number of ATMs on the island for your use if needed (fees apply). To avoid having to use cash, purchase your food and drink tickets in advance when you purchase your tickets!
Exit & Reentry
Forgot something in your car? No problem. You may exit and re-enter the festival, but keep in mind you will have to enter through the security check point just as if you were entering for the first time. Hold onto your cup, you will not be reissued another one, so keep it safe!
Although Kingman is its own little estuary, we have neighbors. With your cooperation, we can make sure they welcome us back every year. If you are walking outside of the festival grounds, please follow all pedestrian rules and be respectful of our neighbors and their property. Show them some Kingman Island Love!!
Lost & Found
Lose Something? Head to the information tent to see if the item has been recovered. Feel free to leave your contact information with one of our staff and we will get back to you if your item turns up.
Is the Festival Rain or Shine?
Yes! If you've been to the event in the past, you know a little rain won't spoil the day! However, it is important to be prepared in the event of rain and/or cool weather so we've put together a list of tips for you:
- - Wear Layers so you can put on or take off clothes if/when necessary.
- - Wear boots/shoes that will keep your feet warm and dry in the event of rain-- it's on an island, there could be mud!
- - Bring a poncho or rain jacket with a hood, hats and umbrellas will just block someone's awesome view of the stage.
- - Bring a backpack to store your extra layers.
- - Make sure you have a water-resistant spot to keep your phone and camera.
- - Bring chairs or a tarp instead of a blanket. Please, no tents.
- - In the event of sunshine bring sunblock and bug spray!
